Expect walk-on dry in 1–2 hours and fully dry within a few hours. Ventilation matters more than heating.
Blot, don't rub. Use cold water first. Avoid supermarket stain sprays with bleach or optical brighteners — they can permanently lift the dye.
Pet odour lives in urine salts, not on the surface. Enzymes break them down; perfume only hides them until the next humid day.
