Pet Stain & Pet Odour Removal

Dog and cat accidents are a different job to normal carpet cleaning. Urine goes through the carpet into the underlay, so surface cleaning just moves the smell around. We treat at source with enzymes and then extract.

  • Accidents on mattresses and sofas

How we do it

  1. 1. Find it

We track down every affected patch, not just the one you can see.

  2. 2. Enzyme treatment

Enzymes break the urine down chemically. Perfume-based products just cover it and the smell returns in warm weather.

  3. 3. Let it work

The treatment needs dwell time. Rushing this stage is why DIY attempts fail.

  4. 4. Flush and extract

A heavy flush through the affected area with full recovery.

  5. 5. Honest verdict

If it's soaked the underlay, cleaning the carpet alone won't fix it — we'll tell you rather than take your money twice.

Common questions

Can professional cleaning remove dog urine smell?
In most cases yes, when the urine is in the carpet and backing and it's treated with enzymes and flushed. If it has soaked through into the underlay or floorboards, the underlay may need replacing — no cleaner can extract what's under the carpet.
Why does the smell come back in hot weather?
Urine salts reactivate with humidity. That's the sign a perfume-based product was used instead of something that actually broke the urine down.
Is the treatment safe around my pets?
Everything we use is pet & child safe — no harsh solvents, no heavy perfume, and nothing left behind in the pile once the extraction pass is done.
Do you clean pet hair from sofas too?
Yes — pet hair in upholstery is removed at the dry-vacuum stage before any wet cleaning.
