How we do it

  1. 1. Identify the fibre

    Wool, viscose and jute all behave differently in water. We identify before choosing a method.

  2. 2. Dry soil out

    Both faces vacuumed — a surprising amount of grit sits underneath.

  3. 3. Gentle clean

    A fibre-appropriate pre-treatment and a controlled rinse, with moisture kept low on natural backing.

  4. 4. Groom & dry

    Pile groomed in the right direction and lifted for airflow underneath.

Do you take rugs away?
No — we clean in your home so nothing goes missing and you don't wait days for it back.
Can viscose rugs be cleaned?
Viscose is genuinely fragile and can pile-distort with water. We assess it in person and will recommend a low-moisture approach or advise against it if that's the honest answer.
Will the fringe be damaged?
Fringes are cleaned carefully by hand. If a fringe is already fragile we'll show you before starting.
